UnionJack's Forces Under Heavy Assault in Southern Iraq

Even as Uncle Sam tries to turn up the heat on Sadrists in Baghdad (as the invaluable Roads to Iraq reports) in a last-ditch campaign to salvage something from his complete defeat in Iraq, we read on the AP wire service reports that entrenched UnionJack forces occupying the southern city of Basra - a city that borders Iran - have come under heavy bombardment in recent days:

Six British soldiers were wounded in attacks on their base in southern Iraq last night, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said today.

The Basra Palace camp in Basra city came under fire from a mixture of mortars, rockets and small arms three times yesterday evening.

In the attacks, one soldier was seriously wounded and five others sustained minor injuries...

Two British soldiers suffered minor injuries when their patrol came under attack in the Al Ashshar area of Basra province on Wednesday.

Just as Uncle Sam compelled the always-willing UnionJack to lead NATO's disasterous, failed occupation of Afghanistan, he also convinced Jack to hold down Basra in Iraq. And like every other conclusion reached by Uncle Sam's WarOn Terrorists, their arrogant and racist assumptions about the viability and plausibility of these two missions have left a good number of UnionJack's soldiers surrounded by enemies, helplessly under attack in a foreign land.

The Sunday Telegraph received a report leaked by the British military that presents a reality Tony Blair still refuses to acknowledge: the Afghan Resistance has defeated UnionJack's NATO-led Crusade.

A lack of political direction, a shortage of soldiers and "complete disconnection" between the Foreign Office and Ministry of Defence combined to hinder progress in the war in Afghanistan, a report by military chiefs has concluded.

The document, drawn up by senior officers from 16 Air Assault Brigade, gives a withering assessment of how decisions in Whitehall prevented progress against the Taliban and, sources claim, contributed to deaths and injuries among soldiers.

Just as Apartheid Israel has failed to occupy Palestine and Uncle Sam has failed in Iraq, UnionJack's NATO occupation will inevitably fail and provoke another British retreat from Afghanistan.

Yet in response, Union Jack has clutched the boots of his Uncle Sam even more tightly, buying into his philosophy that nuking Iran will create peace.

George Galloway's Interesting Hypothetical

British RESPECT MP George Gallway has again sent shockwaves through the British bourgeois political establishment by reportedly telling GQ Magazine that a suicide attack that killed Tony Blair "would be morally justified.... And morally equivalent to ordering the deaths of thousands of innocent people in Iraq - as Blair did."

He added in the same interview that, "I am not calling for it - but if it happened it would be of a wholly different moral order to the events of July 7. It would be entirely logical and explicable."

It presents an interesting question to those on Sam's Plantation who support the prison gulags, the death penalty, or Apartheid Isreal's right to assassinate any Palestinian leader they choose. What makes the life of Tony Blair - a man Comrade Chavez called "an unconditional subordinate to the crazy man" - worth any more than someone like Fred Hampton, who the state can kill without batting an eye?

Why does Apartheid Israel have the right to kill anyone they want at any time without so much as arresting a person, but Galloway is taken to the woodshed for poiting out the moral relativism that plagues so many on the Plantation and in Europe?
