  • US demolishes buildings in ar-Ramadi reportedly in preparation for building a fortress “green zone” in that city.
  • Iraqi Resistance sharpshooter reportedly kills US soldier in al-Khalidiyah.
  • Two Resistance car bombers blast into puppet army checkpoint in Baghdad’s al-Iskan neighborhood, killing six Iraqi puppet army troops.
  • US forces assume responsibility for “security” northeast of Tikrit after three Resistance attacks wipe out three puppet police checkpoints, killing 25 puppet policemen.
