Fatah & Abbas Combat Democracy to Carry Water for Uncle Sam & Apartheid Israel

Fatah lost the recent Palestinian elections to Hamas for 2 reasons: first, their servile acquiescence to the brutality of Apartheid Israel and second, their absolute corruption. Both were fully on display this week.

Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Authority President and Zionist collaborator, announced his intent to seize control over the Palestinian military -- an illegal, unconstitutional, and unilateral decision. Hamas rightly annouced that they will not form a government under such terms, leaving Abbas as a hapless wanna-be dictator who can't even govern his own corrupt party.

In another development, the Jerusalem Post reports:
Several top Palestinian Authority officials have fled the West Bank and Gaza Strip since Hamas scored a landslide victory in the January 25 parliamentary election, PA security sources revealed on Sunday....

The sources told The Jerusalem Post that the PA was planning to seek Interpol's assistance in tracking down and arresting the officials, who are suspected of stealing hundreds of millions of dollars of public funds. One of the suspects is Sami Ramlawi, former director-general of the PA's Finance Ministry, who is believed to be living in Jordan.
These audacious efforts to subvert Palestine's democracy, destined to fail, will be the final bits of rope Fatah uses to hang themselves. Good riddance.
