Angela Merkel & the Self-Delusion of Hitler's Progeny

Angela Merkel, Germany's Chancellor, has taken up the baton in the campaign to attack Iran that Tony Blair carried for Uncle Sam in the lead-up to the escalation of the 15-year war against Iraq.

Bloviating racist, unjustified, propagandistic fears of an "Islamic Bomb," Merkel recently compared Iran to das Vaterland. “Looking back to German history in the early 1930s when National Socialism was on the rise, there were many outside Germany who said, ‘It’s only rhetoric — don’t get excited’... There were times when people could have reacted differently and, in my view, Germany is obliged to do something at the early stages,” she added. “We want to, we must prevent Iran from developing its nuclear programme."

Meanwhile, her steadfast support continues for the world's greatest renegade state, the United States, and their terrorist ally Israel - two countries whose racist disregard for international convention and prediliction to maim, torture and slaughter innocent civilians shares more with Nazi Germany than anyone in the world today.

The Hitler-fettish by genocidal right-wingers like Merkel and Don Rumsfeld these days is quite ironic, too, given that in Weimar Germany, those sharing the racist, warmongering policies of Merkel and Rumsfeld were the very people who welcomed the rise of Hitler and the Nazis.
